CyberPatriot is a Cyber Education Program created to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity. In order to grow the cyber workforce the Fort Eisenhower Cyber District’s Alliance for Cyber Education team continues to leverage this program.
The Alliance for Fort Eisenhower has hosted ten FREE Alliance for Cyber Education CyberPatriot Summer Camps over the last six years, allowing 875 middle and high school students to receive FREE cybersecurity training. The camps held in 2024 were the largest CyberPatriot summer camp efforts our region and the nation has ever seen.
Over 100 CyberPatriot teams were fielded in our middle and high schools across the Fort Eisenhower Cyber District for seven consecutive years. This number is a testament to our region’s increased interest in the cyber industry.
Mark your calendars because in the summer of 2025 the Alliance team will again conduct FREE CyberPatriot summer camps. This summers CyberPatriot camps will be held at the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center. The standard camp will be held 23-27June and the advanced camp 14-18 July.
Why has this program had so much success? Its because of our proximately and our partnership to our regions number one employer… Fort Eisenhower Our key partners include: The Alliance for Cyber Education (ACE) team, Fort Eisenhower, Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Eisenhower Command Groups, NSA Georgia, Cyber Training Brigade, Cyber School House, Signal School House, NIOC Georgia, Army Cyber Command, Georgia Cyber Center, Augusta Boys and Girls Club, Augusta Technical College, Aiken Technical College, and Local and National Alliance Partners (funding).
Also a huge reason for the teams success was/is Mr. Dave Besel a Cyber Leader, Operator, Practitioner: with over 30 yrs of experience in cybersecurity, IT, project management, and teaming strategies. Dave (from NSA Georgia) has led our Cyber summer camps for the last five years and we are truly grateful for his leadership. Special shout out to Mrs. Adanet Adon who was our CyberPatriot Project manager again in 2024 and was also instrumental in our teams’ successes.
We are the CyberPatriot Center of Excellence of the Year for our entire Nation and we are Eisenhower Strong!
